Connecticut – Part 3 – Lounge Access

A few weeks back my wife and I each got the Amex Platinum as part of the crazy 100K point offer which lasted only about 12 hours.  This card offers complementary lounge access on American, Delta and US Airways.  This card came just in time as we were able to use it on our Delta flight.

The Delta Sky Lounge at Miami International is a very basic lounge  with a simple offering, but it sure beats sitting on uncomfortable chairs at the terminal.  Lounge access included an offering of snacks, coffee, and complementary beer and wine.

We felt a bit out of place with our two kids, but luckily they behaved great.  They tore up the Biscoff cookies with Nutella while we enjoyed our complementary drinks and comfortable lounge chairs.

Here’s yet another perk to playing this game!  Snacks and a couple of free beers before our flight was a little icing on the cake.

Chris, make sure you have the Priority Pass access card with you. You will need it to access the lounge. You can register it at www.prioritypass.com. You can request the card via the Amex Platinum portal.
