Aeromexico Salon Premier – Mexico City

This year while flying through Mexico City I had my Priority Pass card with me and was able to check out Aeromexico’s Salon Premier in Terminal 2.  If you recall, you get the Priority Pass Select card for free for having the Amex Platinum card.   Aeromexico actually has 2 lounges in Terminal 2 which are almost identical but one is for national flights while the other is for international flights.  In either case, I was allowed into both.

I must say that although it’s not a Centurion, it’s nice that they actually have food at the  lounge.  I visited twice and both times it was for breakfast.  They had typical pastries as well as waffles, Mexican beans, and some little stuffed wraps.

The lounges were rather roomy although the national lounge was definitely more crowded.

Both of the lounges had a spa as well.

Overall I would say this is a decent option while in Mexico City.  Not quite as exclusive as the American Express Centurion Lounge which happens to be available in Mexico City as well but way better than sitting in the terminal.  You can do as I did, eat at the Salon Premier and then go hang out in the private Platinum section of the Centurion Lounge!
