Latest Amex Sync offers – check your Amex portal

If you’re familiar with the Amex credit card portal, you are also probably familiar with its sync offers, where you can save lots of money by making purchases you would make anyway. While the offers are specific to each member’s profile, they tend to run in packs, so if other people are getting them, chances are they are available to you as well. If you need a quick refresher on how the offers work, you can refer to this prior post.

To check what offers are available for your card, log in to your Amex portal. Once you are logged in, go to the section that says “Amex Offers For You”:

Amex

Always remember that you actually have to add or “load” the offer to your card. If you don’t, the credit won’t post. Adding is free, so I would just add anything you might possibly use in the future.

Here is a list of some of the offers that I added to my account.

Amex-offersAmex-offersTexas de Brazil and P.F. Chang’s are two of my favorite restaurants. Cheesecake Factory is also very popular, so these are offers that will net you some savings or that extra dessert you can take home for the next day. To maximize the offer, remember to pay only the minimum required with your Amex and pay the remainder of the bill with another card that gets you a better return, like your Chase Sapphire Preferred card at 2 points per dollar in restaurants, or your Barclay’s Arrivals Plus World Elite MasterCard, which earns you 2 points per dollar on every dollar spent.

Bed Bath and Beyond is usually on the pricey end, but they do have a lot of things that you can’t find at other stores, and if you pair up your Amex offer with their never ending supply of 20% off coupons the offer makes a bit more sense. If you need to spend more than $25, consider also purchasing Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards at an office supplies store and paying with your Chase Ink Plus or Bold cards to earn 5 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on the remainder of your purchase.

J.C. Penney’s offer is also a good offer, and there are usually plenty of store coupons available everywhere, or you can make the purchase online and earn additional shopping portal points.

Another great offer is the Courtyard by Marriott’s, where you can get $20 back for spending $100 at their properties.

Finally, the Best Buy offer of $25 after spending $250 is a great offer. I don’t shop at Best Buy, but they do sell Amazon gift cards, and I already purchased some using my Amex Platinum and received the $25 credit. That’s 10% return on your money.

Make sure that you expand the + sign next to the offer and read the terms. Some offers are only good in store or online only, while others are available on both. Some offers also exclude certain items or categories, so read up the terms before you buy.

Most Amex credit cards under your name qualify for the sync offers, and many times I get the offer multiple times either across some of my cards or by using my wife’s cards.

You can get the Amex Platinum card using this link (our 40,000 points referral link) although some people do get targeted for a larger amount of points occasionally. We can also refer you for the SPG Amex card using our link.

Disclosure: We receive a commission if you apply for and are approved for some of the cards on this post using our links. As always, thank you for your support.
